Lawn Be Gone! is a turf replacement rebate program coordinated by the Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA) and offered through 26 Peninsula water agencies. Each agency sets its own rate, typically between $1 and $4 per square foot.

BAWSCA covers communities on the San Francisco Peninsula including Belmont, Brisbane, Burlingame, Daly City, Foster City, Hillsborough, Menlo Park, Millbrae, Palo Alto, Portola Valley, Redwood City, San Bruno, San Carlos, San Mateo, Sunnyvale, and others.
A bill credit — the rebate is applied directly to your water account, reducing your future water bills.
